Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman has been a author, speaker and certified intuitive consultant. Also, she is a Licensed Clinical social worker, an accredited Astrologer, and an activist. She is a Ordained Minister and is a Reiki and Psychic medium. While in Italy Kauffman made her reputation for her portrait painting and also created historical art. Her achievements are evident by her appointment to Rome's Accademia of San Luca in 1765. Angelica Kauffman spent only 15 years living in England and made a huge influence on the 18th century London artistic scene. She became one of two women to be founder members at the Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman passed away on 5th November 1807, aged 66. Liz Powers, along with Spencer Powers, her brother Spencer Powers founded ArtLifting together in November of 2013. Liz was chosen for Forbes 30 Under 30 and Boston Globe's Game Changers. When she has time off, Liz enjoys creating art out of old books to run, hike, or sail. The family moved to Rome in the beginning of January 1763, Kauffman was first introduced to people from the British community. Following a couple of months, the family relocated to Naples. The artist continued to paint portraits and studying English. There Kauffman was able to study works of the Old Masters and had her first painting sent to a public exhibition in London.
