Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. The first job she had after school was working in the field of real estate. That's how she met her future spouse Tarek El Moussa. They ran a profitable business up until 2008 when real estate investors as well as house flippers and other people went broke. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa nearly financially bankrupted after the market crash of 2008. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 for a month, and moved to a small house that was only $700. The business and economy at large, slowly rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 requested a colleague to assist him with making an HGTV tape showing Christina and him flipping the house from start to end. Pie Town Productions, a production firm located in New York City received the audition tape. The company's executives were in love with Tarek & Christina. The couple officially signed a deal with HGTV in the year 2012. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" was launched. Between 2013 and 2017 the show ran 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek from the show, who were on the show, bought properties, which were typically mid-income properties in Orange County. Tarek concentrates more on remodeling and demolishment, while Christina is the one in charge of designing. The couple also ensure that everything happens on time.
