Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford was born in Bloomsbury, London; her father was absent from the family, so she was raised by her mother, grandmother and godparents. As a child Ford was diagnosed with an obsessive-compulsive disorder and suffered anxiety linked to associations with words. Ford was intrigued by the acting profession during her teenage years and she joined National Youth Theatre. Ford gained entry to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, however, she decided after one week that she wasn't a good fit there. Ford made an application to the Central School of Speech and Drama and finally won a position on her fourth attempt. Her classmate included Shaun Dingwall, who would play a part in the role of Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford was able to graduate in 1993. However, she already made a TV appearance in the 1992 episode Surgical Spirit. She adopted the name Catherine Tate. During the Nineties, Tate could be found on TV in shows including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London's Burning. She also worked regularly in the theatre, eventually joining the Royal Shakespeare Company for its 2000-2001 season. Tate's stand-up comedy and humour, which she added to her set in the year 1996, was soon gaining the attention of her peers.
